Hidden Stage concentrates on how computer changed and expanded our everyday life. Exhibition area features three different types of labs, each see different perspective towards computer technology and their social impact. Open Storage welcomes visitors to their most unique and nostalgic experience.

Lab 1.0 features special exhibition “Museum Remark : Keyboard & Mouse,” with a focus of a theme of ‘Every extraordinary technology starts when one questions ordinary things.’ In Lab 2.0, Visitors can experience coding software originated from the binary language and complete the adventure story of MapleStory Pink Bean with their escape process coding. Lab 3.0 is dedicated to education workshops, with a focus of thinking, creating, experimenting and sharing computer related experiences.

Last, Open Storage features a vast number of critically acclaimed personal computers, as well as several other most widely used digital devices from the past. Open Storage also offers regular on-site program called “Sneak Preview”, which allow visitors unique experience to look and experience some of museum archived computers – more closely than anywhere else.

Open Storage is one of the most highlighted exhibitions in Nexon Computer Museum. We hope to communicate and interact with our visitors more, by revealing the storage - which generally inaccessible place in museums. Open Storage offers regular on-site program called “Sneak Preview”, an exclusive opportunity to our pre-registered visitors to closely see and demonstrate some of these historically acclaimed computers.

“Museum Remark : Keyboard & Mouse” is a special exhibition that vies the past, present and future of keyboard and mouse which enabled communication between human and computer. Under the theme of ‘Every extraordinary technology starts when one questions ordinary things,’ visitors can look through the history of computer mouse and keyboard from unfamiliar point of view and may imagine the future of input devices.

Computer programming started from binary language has transformed itself from software such as GW-BASIC into intuitive educational programs like Arudino, KODU and Code.org. Nexon Computer Museum provides “Story Coding with Pink Bean” to all-age visitors for hands-on coding experience with block coding and coding robots including Ozobot, Sphero, Cubetto and Dash.

Nexon Computer Museum offers various education workshops to our visitors in all age group to understand, experience and innovate new computer technology and its social impact. Our regular workshop includes “Mahn Jee Jahk. A mimetic word, meaning “touch with fingers” where visitors can play around with numbers of museum displayed devices and software, to understand how computer operates. Nexon Computer Museum also offers semester long curriculums for local children, which includes “HAT(Humanities, Art & Design, and create Technology)” and “NCM Children Advisory.” Also museum conducts numbers of on-site open workshops for teenage and/or colleague students on either regular or occasional basis.
